Mighty Burner Track Club is a track club in the Tampa Bay area focused on providing guidance, training and meets for youth, High School and Masters athletes. We focus on fundamentals, sprint mechanics, hurdles, and healthy competition.

About Mighty Burner

Coaching philosophy

Simple cues, consistent progressions, and reps that translate to race day. We teach athletes how to move — not just how to grind.

Events we cover

Sprints (60–400), hurdles, relays, jumps and general athletic development.

Pricing

All-inclusive season package (May–August).

Important Information

You do not need to compete to join Mighty Burner Track Club. Athletes are welcome to attend practices only to sharpen skills and prepare for future seasons.

If your athlete plans to compete in USATF meets, they must obtain a USATF Youth Membership and upload proof of birth date on the USATF website. The USATF Youth Membership is an additional fee of approximately $38.

Junior Olympic Qualifying Paths

There are two main routes for Tampa Bay athletes: USATF and AAU. Dates/locations can change each year.

Important: Athletes must have an active membership with the organization they plan to compete in.

Coach Elliot is a sprints and hurdles specialist and former Pennsylvania high school state champion who competed collegiately at Villanova University and Florida State University.

Coach Mack is a Masters Track & Field World Champion and proud Clearwater, Florida native whose dedication to training has led to record-setting performances on the national and international stage.

Coach Roosevelt is a former dual-sport athlete from Boyd H. Anderson High School with a background in football, track & field, and AAU track.
